Holy Music from the World

Return to Music from Red Clay

The Cyber Hymnal (TM) has thousands of Christian hymns and Gospel songs from many denominations: lyrics, MIDI files, scores, pictures, history, and more. It is searchable, has an advanced autoplay feature, free downloads, and new entries every week. Sounds complicated, but it really is user-friendly, and the tunes play (perhaps a bit woodenly) as the lyrics are displayed so that you may sing along with the music.

Many Traditional Hymns have been posted by Audio Treasures. (See the second table on that site.)

A number of Gregorian Chants have been recorded live at St. Benedict's Monastery in São Paulo (Brazil).

England: Change-ringing on handbells many MP3 files covering many different named sequences for change-ringing.

Ireland: Change-ringing on cathedral bells

New Zealand: St Paul's Anglican Cathedral organ photos and an MP3 file of J.S. Bach's "Sinfonia to Cantata 29" (arr Gehring)
