A Word from Pastor Randy - July 8, 2021

For those of us who understand that our calling is to do interim work, we know that having to say “Goodbye” with some regularity comes with the territory.   As you are aware, it is that time in my ministry in which my path will separate from Red Clay’s path and so we have come to that point where we must say “Goodbye” to one another.    I am glad I had the chance to be part of Red Clay Creek and will carry with me memories of our time together and the work, dreams, and prayers we have shared.  While I look forward to new opportunities and new challenges in the interim position that I will be starting next week, I know that I will miss leading worship here at Red Clay with Eric, Jeffrey and Barbara. I will miss interacting with our staff and office volunteers.  I will miss being part of the work of the committees of this church and working with those who themselves work so tirelessly to make sure that the building is safe, functioning, and well cared for, as well as those who ensure that the technology works, and those who give of their time and energy to help the church remain a faithful witness to God’s love in Jesus Christ in this community and around the world.  I will miss you all on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.    I am grateful for the time we have had together and the ministry we have shared.  As I leave Red Clay, I do so being confident that God has amazing plans for this congregation!

Please note that we will acknowledge the ending of my time at Red Clay in the same way in both services on Sunday morning.
