Sunday, 5:00 PM

Summer is knocking at our door, and most of us eagerly welcome its arrival. Days are longer, children enjoy a break from their studies, couples get married, and people of all ages gather for reunions and vacations.

Sunday, 5:00 PM.

It’s hectic and relaxing, crazy and calm, all at the same time!

I’m looking forward to short visits to New York and Gettysburg, a few days at the cabin, a week with Tom, Kim and Maddie Mei at Ocean City (NJ), improving my skill at ping-pong, reading, eating ice-cream in Maine, watching The Green Lantern, Captain America and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and simply spending more time at home with Deb and Nathan.

Sunday, 5:00 PM.

Sometimes, in the summer we’re so busy (or exhausted!) having fun, we don’t know if we are coming or going!

Sunday, 5:00 PM.

If you ever find yourself in that situation, if you are away on Sunday mornings, if you want to try something a little different, if you want to bask in the unexpected and wonderful interruptions of summer but still worship with your friends at Red Clay, join us on Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM for a potluck dinner and worship. Whether you have sand between your toes or an aching back from working all day in your garden, join us.

We’ll sing some songs, listen to a variation of the morning’s sermon, pray, provide activities for children, eat a simple meal, and most importantly spend time together as God’s people.

Potluck and Worship.

Sunday, 5:00 PM.

I’ll see you then!

Grace and peace,
