For some graves all that remains is a rough stone marker.
One of the oldest marked graves is that of John McAlmont (above), who died in 1776 December.
This is one of several above-ground vaults (below).
In the 1800s marble was a popular stone,
although it now shows the effects of weathering.
This child's grave is marked in the European style.
The more recent granite markers come in many shapes.
