Children's Sunday School
We welcome your children to Red Clay!It is our prayer that, through our ministry, your children will learn to live creatively, joyously and harmoniously with Christ who is, who was, and who will forever be! We hope that your children will come to know the joy and suffering of being concerned about everyone they meet; that they will see each person worthy of dignity and acceptance. We hope for them a growth into fuller and deeper levels of humanity as expressed through Jesus. At Red Clay, we endeavor to cultivate a ministry that joins God in nurturing children that they will understand that God alone can give life meaning and purpose and direction; and that throughout their journey of faith they will be on their knees before God with words of thanksgiving; and on their feet for God with deeds of love. "God's Creation" Sunday SchoolSunday School is offered during the 10:00 AM worship service for all children from infants through high school with classes organized by age and grade. Children under age 2 can be taken directly to the Nursery (Room 305) before the services. Children ages 2 and 3 may go to the Toddler '2' Three Garden Room (303). Preschool through 5th grade begin their morning in the 10:00 AM worship service, and after the Passing of the Peace, they share The Building Block in the front of the sanctuary before going to their individual classes. Older Youth also attend the 10:00 AM worship service and then go directly to their classes. Children in First Grade and younger should be picked up from their class by a designated adult; older children may be dismissed to specific areas -- please use the registration form to indicate dismissal choices for your child. Teachers use the We Believe curriculum from the Presbyterian Church USA, which offers scripture-based stories and lessons, crafts, songs, games and activities. Classroom Assignments |

NurseryInfant and toddler care is provided every Sunday morning from 8:00 - 11:00 AM. Care for children through age 4 is also provided during the 8:30 service. Our longtime nursery supervisor, Judy Lozier, looks forward to meeting your children. |
