My name is Andrew Kedash and I am a Life rank Boy Scout from Troop 29. I am currently working on my Eagle Project with Friendship House as the benefactor. My project has a goal of creating 250 care packages for recently released prisoners who have nothing when they get out. The goal of my project is to help keep these ex-inmates from ending up homeless on the street and help them to become contributing members of society again. These care packages will contain basic toiletries and a change of clothes. That’s where RCCPC comes in! Together with RCCPC, I have arranged a clothing drive for new and lightly used clothing. My goal is to collect enough clothing to outfit 100 care packages for women and 150 for men. Larger sizes are appreciated so as to fit as many people as possible. Collections will take place on Sundays: September 19th & 26th.  Collection bins for donations will be labeled and located outside of the narthex area (entrance) of the sanctuary.

ITEMS BEING COLLECTED ARE:

New Clothing:  socks, underwear (men and women)

Clean and Lightly Used or New Clothing: loose fitting shirts (men and women), loose fitting pants (men and women)

Yours in the Service of Scouting,

Andrew
