Stage 4: Rennovating Old Rooms

Step 4 of the project is rennovating almost all of the old building
(not the sanctuary) to bring the rooms up to modern building standards
and to make them more attractive and functional for class and community use.
The rooms being re-finished or built in Step 4 are shown in yellow below. |
On the third floor enlarge the sacristy, provide three general purpose
rooms and a library wth space to display historic memorabilia.
Install a second elevator connecting all three levels
(see X iside a box at the top above the L in THIRD FLOOR)
Nothing will be done in the new addition.
On the second floor reduce the size of Fellowship Hall to make room
for a lounge and small restroom next to the elevator. Convert current
kitchen space to an "area" kitchen. Enlarge the choir rehearsal
and storeage space. Rennovate four classrooms.
On the ground floor rennovate the classrooms; also complete
a reception area, a new hall and a sheltered walkway to the new addition.
