One Shot Service Sunday
OSSS {4} You Were HungryThis year “One Shot” moves to Red Clay Creek Presbyterian where all New Castle Presbytery participants will work together to pack between 10,000 and 20,000 meals for “Stop Hunger Now” in the battle against world hunger! Please use the materials (below) to promote and register for this awesome event! When: October 23, 2 pm - 6 pm Where: Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Who: 6-12 graders and their leaders How: $10 per person Tally Sheet (for leaders) Stop Hunger Now Media Kit (with FAQ) Stop Hunger Now YouTube links and promos Looking back on One Shot Service Sunday 2010:Over 100 volunteers gathered together at Westminster Presbyterian on October 24th, all with a common goal: HELP OTHERS. And help others we did! Going out to serve at various organizations our group took the Good News into the Greater Wilmington area! Picking up paintbrushes, brooms, rug cleaners, rakes, lawn mowers, cleaning supplies, and whatever else they could to help and make a difference this day was marked with the compassion and love of a Savior who is alive in each of us! The theme of this year's One Shot Service Sunday was "Guide my Feet." We pray and hope that everyone who was affected by this day in any way big or small will take the time to appreciate the great things that happen when we allow our paths to be lead by God, who loves and cares for us all.
