Red Clay’s Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.
A Stephen Minister is someone who is formally and intentionally committed to a hurting person. They are a caring Christian friend who will help to bear some of the burden and “be there” to listen to, support, encourage, and pray for the one who is hurting. God doesn’t intend for us to bear our burdens alone. He asks us to help each other.
If you feel that you would benefit from the care of a Stephen Minister or if you would like to know more about becoming a Stephen Minister, please contact one of the Pastors or call the Church Office to leave a message for one of our Stephen Ministry Coordinators: Suzanne Courter-Jann or Leslie Gast.
